Have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Dear Members & Friends,

Christmas is almost here and on behalf of the AMBC Victoria Board, I would like to wish you all a happy holiday season and a very successful 2020.

Since my appointment as President, the AMBC Victoria has been busy: 

• We welcomed to Melbourne in August  the Hon. Darryl Leiking MP – Minister for International Trade & Investment
• Celebrated Malaysia Day at the Bayview Eden Hotel in September
• Hosted a briefing by Leigh Howard, Deputy Commissioner for Victoria based in Kuala Lumpur
• Facilitated the AMBC Hotel Seminar that was hosted by Moray & Agnew Lawyers in November
• Hosted Christmas Drinks at the Bank on Collins Street

The year ahead is also starting to look eventful.  Our program currently includes:   

• Launching the 2020 year with a Yum Cha at Red Emperor on 5 February – bookings can now be made on-line via the AMBC Victoria website
• Networking drinks in March
• Young Professionals seminar in March
• Women in Business in April
• AGM in August
• Malaysia Day celebration in September

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Board of AMBC Victoria for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.  Our Board members are:

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Felix Wong for his four years of presidency.  Felix consolidated the activities of the AMBC and provided strong leadership during his two terms.

I very much look forward to welcoming you to our 5 February Yum Cha to celebrate both the Year of the Rat and the launch of the 2020 AMBC Victoria program.
