Seminar on Trade and Investment Opportunities in Malaysia as the Gateway to ASEAN and Individual Business Meeting (B2B Session)
We are pleased to inform you that the Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia (MITI) together with Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) are organising the Seminar on Trade and Investment Opportunities in Malaysia as the Gateway to ASEAN on 22nd August 2019 (Thursday) at The Langham Melbourne. This event is in-conjunction with the trade and investment mission to Australia led by The Honourable Darell Leiking, Minister of International Trade and Industry together with federal, state government officials and members representing the business community.
The forum intends to highlight Malaysia's economic advances and to introduce trade & investment opportunities and potential business cooperation between Australia and Malaysia. Indeed, the event will provide a platform to discuss Trade and Investment Opportunities in Malaysia as the Gateway to ASEAN, followed by a Business Matching Session with the Malaysian Business Delegation.
Australia, one of the world’s strongest economies is a nation of boundless opportunity in a country of endless potential – a nation that is open for business - this bodes well with Malaysia’s friendly approach in building strategic partnerships to facilitate its business community in trade and investment. This is further illustrated by Malaysia’s position as Australia's 8th largest trading partner, and Australia’s ranking in Malaysia's top ten approved investments in the manufacturing sector for over a decade.
